Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by The Window Cleaning Man Ltd. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Services Provided
We provide exterior cleaning services including, but not limited to:
- Window cleaning (residential and commercial)
- Gutter, fascia, and soffit cleaning
- Roof maintenance and moss control
- Solar panel cleaning
- Pigeon deterrent mesh installation
- Other exterior cleaning services as agreed
All services are carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.
2. Quotes & Pricing
- All quotes are based on information available at the time and may be subject to change if conditions differ on arrival.
- Prices may vary depending on property size, access, condition, and service requirements.
- Quotes are valid for a reasonable period unless stated otherwise.
- All prices are inclusive of labour and standard equipment unless otherwise agreed.
3. Access & Safety
- Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the property on the agreed service date.
- Gates must be unlocked, and pets secured where necessary.
- We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule work if access is unsafe or restricted.
- Work at height is carried out in accordance with UK health & safety regulations, using appropriate access equipment.
4. Weather Conditions
- Some services may be affected by adverse weather conditions.
- We reserve the right to reschedule work if weather conditions make the service unsafe or impractical.
- Light rain does not normally affect window cleaning results.
5. Health & Safety & Risk Assessments
- We carry out site-specific risk assessments where required.
- RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and COSHH assessments can be provided for commercial or managed sites.
- Customers must inform us of any known hazards before work begins.
6. Damage & Liability
- We take reasonable care while working on your property.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to:
- Loose or damaged tiles
- Deteriorated seals or frames
- Blocked or damaged gutters prior to cleaning
- Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
7. Insurance
- We hold public liability insurance and employer’s liability insurance appropriate for the services we provide.
- Insurance details are available on request.
8. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Invoices must be paid within the agreed timeframe.
- Late payments may result in suspended services or additional charges.
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a call-out charge.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments where necessary.
10. Regular Services
- Customers on regular cleaning schedules agree to ongoing visits unless notice is given.
- Service frequency and pricing may be reviewed periodically.
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice.
11. Complaints
- Any concerns or complaints should be raised promptly.
- We aim to resolve issues fairly and professionally.
- Complaints must be made within 48 hours of service completion.
12. Data Protection & Privacy
- Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- We do not share customer data with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
