Terms and Conditions for The Window Cleaning Man Ltd
Welcome to The Window Cleaning Man Ltd. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by The Window Cleaning Man Ltd (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”). By engaging Our services, You (“Customer”, “You”, or “Your”) agree to the following Terms.
1. Services Provided
1.1 Scope of Work:
The Window Cleaning Man Ltd provides professional window cleaning services for residential and commercial properties, including exterior and interior window cleaning. Additional services such as gutter cleaning, frame cleaning, and conservatory roof cleaning are available upon request.
1.2 Service Guarantee:
We are committed to delivering high-quality services. If You are not fully satisfied with the cleaning, We will clean the affected areas again at no additional cost, provided that You notify Us within 24 hours of the service.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Invoice Payment:
Payment for services rendered is due within 60 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
2.2 Late Payments: Interest Rate Terms and Conditions
Interest Rate: The applicable interest rate is 8% per annum plus the Bank of England (BoE) base rate. The total rate adjusts automatically with changes in the BoE base rate.
Rate Changes: Any changes in the BoE base rate will be applied from the next payment due date. Notifications will be provided in the event of a rate change.
Prepayment: Early repayment is allowed with no penalties. Interest is charged only up to the repayment date.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
2.3 Payment Methods:
We accept various payment methods, including bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and cash. Payment details will be provided on the invoice.
2.4 Invoice Disputes:
If You believe there is an error on the invoice, You must notify Us within 3 days of receiving the invoice. We will investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Service Satisfaction Guarantee:
If You are not fully satisfied with the quality of Our work, We offer a free re-clean of the affected areas. Refunds will not be provided if We are not given the opportunity to rectify the issue.
3.2 Refund Conditions:
Refunds will only be considered under exceptional circumstances, such as if We are unable to perform the re-clean due to Our fault. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 days of the agreement to issue a refund.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1 Customer Cancellations:
If You need to cancel or reschedule a booked service, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the service cost.
4.2 Company Cancellations:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, equipment failure). In such cases, We will notify You as soon as possible and arrange an alternative date.
5. Access to Property
5.1 Customer Responsibilities:
It is Your responsibility to ensure We have safe and unobstructed access to the property on the scheduled service date. This includes providing access to gates, ensuring pets are secured, and removing obstacles near windows.
5.2 Failure to Provide Access:
If We are unable to access the property for the scheduled cleaning, We reserve the right to charge a call-out fee of 40% of the service cost.
6. Liability
6.1 Damage to Property:
While We take the utmost care during Our work, We are not liable for any pre-existing damage or defects in the property. Any damage caused by Our negligence will be rectified by Us at no cost to You.
6.2 Personal Injury:
We are fully insured for public liability. However, We are not liable for injuries sustained by You or others due to conditions on Your property outside of Our control.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 Customer Information:
We collect and process personal information for the purpose of providing Our services. This information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without Your consent, except as required by law.
7.2 Data Security:
We take reasonable measures to protect Your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England.
9. Amendments
The Window Cleaning Man Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to You and will apply to services booked after the date of the amendment.
